Stylish Independence

Independence Day is this coming Saturday, and many of us are excited to have a long weekend of celebrations and gatherings with friends and relatives. This holiday is among my three favorite (the other two are Christmas and Thanksgiving), because throughout the nation many people get together to engage in spirited, communal activities. For example, here in the nation’s capital, a lot of area residents spend the day at the National Mall and wait there until late in the evening to watch the firework display by the Capitol. During this holiday weekend, I enjoy watching people embrace this patriotic commemoration by including America’s national colors in their outfits.

Today I want to share with you a way to create a subtle as well as fashionable red, white, and blue office ensemble that captures the holiday spirit.

Pants / ShoesShirt / Belt / Tote / Bracelet

Also, since most of us will participate in outdoor activities, here is a stylish outfit idea to display the distinctive American colors of the upcoming holiday.

Shirtdress / Hat / Sunglasses / Sandals

Thank you very much for reading!

Happy 4th of July!
